This evening, Dale and I met up with Aaron and Rick for a night at the movies. Our choice - Shrek 2.

Dale wasn’t excited about the movie, but I’d enjoyed the preview and had been hearing (reading) nothing but good things about it. Unlike most of the movies I’ve seen lately, Shrek 2 more than lived up to my expectations, and like many many viewers, Puss in Boots just stole the show for me. Even Dale succumbed to the naughty charm of the dashing kittycat. Perhaps that has something to do with Puss bearing a striking resemblence to our own sweetheart, Pumpkin. (Especially in the hairball scene. :P)

Overall, Shrek 2 was quite funny and enjoyable, and I’m already looking forward to the DVD and bonus materials. If you go see this movie, wait through the credits for an extra scene.
