That’s the number of tries it took to film “Cog,” Honda’s latest commercial. And the results are just amazing.

Can anyone recommend some good .mov video editing software? Preferably free or shareware, but paying isn’t out of the question.
There’s an absolutely incredible lightning storm taking place over northwest Austin right now. I have been trying to stream the image from my webcam, but I can’t get it to work right. (So if you go to the cam page, you’ll probably just see black.)
Let me see if my digital camera attempts were any better.
X-Men 2 outtakes/bloopers that will probably never make it onto the DVD. Though, it would be pretty damn funny if they did. [via Aaron]
This is some extreme computer case customization. Someone has a lot of creativity, and possibly way too much free time.
The past couple of days I’ve been cleaning out the garage. It was nearly full from side to side with crap, trash, and disorganized tools. I made massive progress on Friday, just breaking down empty boxes and getting the trash stacked together. Even though I’d only been out there for 4-5 hours, I was exhausted when I was done. I ended up crawling into bed at the astonishingly early hour of 10:30pm.
Saturday, I woke with a sore throat. After stalling for a while, I went back to work. Dale took care of the yardwork (edging and mowing) while I basically moved a ton of crap from one side of the garage to another, including the shelving. Though there’s still a lot of sorting and organizing to be done, the garage looks completely different. We are able to park both the motorcycle and the car in it at the same time, and two vehicles in the garage hasn’t happened since the first year we were in the house.
Though I feel like I should be able to sit back and relax for a bit, knowing how much work we’ve done, I can’t. I’m sniffling, sneezing, coughing, and my eyes are itching and watering. My sore throat is lingering as well. I have bad allergies to begin with, but two days of breathing dirt, dust, and pollens is really taking its toll on me. I wish I could pull off my head and hose down the insides of my sinuses. Benedryl isn’t even making a dent in my current misery.
Curse my sinuses!
